Callighraphic Font- Celtic Roman!

Name of this font in calligraphy is Celtic Roman. Calligraphy is an art of writing beautifully. It can be done in all the languages. It requires a lot of practice. This is one the most elegant font that i have learnt. While doing calligraphy one has to be very careful regarding the measurements. Even one milli-metre extra or less would spoil it.

Michael Phelps has won 14 golds in olympics!

Michael Phelps has won 14 gold medals in olympics which is 5 more than any one in olympic history. He is 6 ft, 4 inch tall. His arms span is 6 ft, 7 inch. Michael can go deep underwater where he uses his dolphin kick which brings him rocketing back to the surface. His disproportionality allows him to swim with great efficiency. He takes fewer strokes and cover large distance. He collected 8 gold medals in Beijing Olympics making a record of 14 golds. Wow! what a great olypian! i was really astonished to learn about this man. He was born on June 30, 1985, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was 9 pounds, and 23 inches at the time of his birth. "He is not from another planet, he's from future"-Simon Burnett, UK swimmer.

Bindra won a gold medal in Beijing olympics!

Abhinav Bindra won the first ever individual gold medal in olympics for India. Its the first time that an Indian has won an individual olympic gold since modern olympics started in 1896. He hit the bullseye in 10-metre air rifle event. The final has 10 rounds in which the maximum shooter can score is 10.9. Bindra, the chandigarh boy won the medal when he shot his best of 10.8 in the the last round of the final. Despite of his spinal injury and serious vision problem he calmly shot for the triumph. It is an event of ecstacy and pride for all Indians.

Sketch with shading-A container of ecstasies!

This is a shaded drawing of a container which i had. I kept it near the window and did the shading according to the effect of light on it.

The lake abode! (shaded drawing/sketch)

This is not one of the original imaginative sketches. This is one of the 'see and draw' sketches. I saw a picture somewhere which i liked so i made an attempt to make it's sketch myself.

Pleasure garden!

Rural home town!

This picture depicts hovels of a village, with trees around and a man walking down the street with the help of a stick. This sketch is actually larger with more huts and shrubs in it but i could only scan this portion of the sketch.

A tree in full leaf! (sketch/drawing with pencil shading)

Well you must have seen a lot of trees. There are abundant trees on earth, yet they all have distinct appearances! This one is in front of my house. I made its sketch when it was in full leaf, now it looks more like a shrunken alien than a tree!

Mercurial Rider (shaded sketch/drawing)

I made this sketch on 15th of April. It was a lazy summer day, i was getting bored at home so i decided to make a sketch. I had once saved a picture from a newspaper, i took it out and started drawing. I really enjoyed doing it. It took me around 2-3 hours to complete it. I showed it to my mom, she liked it. She rarely likes the things i make. People say moms point out flaws so that we can improve so i guess that is the reason. Then next day i showed it to my friends in school. Well they appreciated as they always do.

The left corner, that dark portion, is shaded because by mistake i spilled some colour on it and i tried to give it a nice look.
